Explore the beautiful city of Oxford with something for everyone with its quaint covered market (Bens cookies not to be missed), punting on the river, climbing steep spires, investigating the castle walls & relaxing in the many restraurants and cafes.
Go up the drive way, across the main road, along to the end of the layby and around the metal gate. Here you are on the old main road, follow until you come to a field and then turn right into the corner of an arable field, you have now reached the footpath, follow until you hit a road, turn right and follow the road through the village of Wicken.
Cross the river and join the ouse valley way footpath which runs 13 miles between Buckingham & Milton Keynes (a short distance is walking on main roads)
We are very lucky to have the Buckingham & District Angling Association
on our doorstep. Day tickets can be purchased directly from us, adults £6 & children £3 and river stretches include the banks of the River Great Ouse which can be accessed accross the field from the campsite.
